Bromley Tennis Centre. A tennis academy and summer camp located in Kent, Great Britain.
Performance
Bromley Tennis Centre is both a Local Performance Development Centre and a Regional Performance Development Centre. We offer a high-quality holistic training environment for tennis players, aspiring coaches, and current tennis professionals. Our coaching team is dedicated, enthusiastic, and has a wide range of experience. The success of our players, both past and present, speak for itself. Young players in Mini Tennis are encouraged to play in at least two tennis sessions a week, do Bounce (10&U athlete development), and are supported by coaches at competitions. 11+ Turbo players have tennis and Strength and Conditioning sessions 2-3 times per week, individual lessons, and support at tournaments. Players and parents are supported by various workshops and presentations on topics such as nutrition, sports psychology, and match charting. We also annually enter teams into the Team Tennis Premier League and regularly have teams reaching National Finals.
Tots
Tots Tennis is for 3-5-year-olds. Our team of coaches leads Tots through various short, fun activities that help them develop basic racket, movement, and ball skills. Term-time sessions are 45 minutes long and take place at various times throughout the day. During each session, we encourage our Tots to build confidence through friendship and learn how to work on their own and as part of a team.
Juniors
These groups are for 11-18yr old and consist of technical coaching, drills, and match play. Our junior sessions are sociable, fun, and specific for teenagers. There are four levels, starting at Junior 4 for newer players progressing to Junior 1. Lessons are on weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
Adults
We have beginner, intermediate, and advanced coaching groups that run termly during the daytime and evening. They’re a great way to work on your game’s technical aspects and meet players of a similar standard.
DISABILITY TENNIS
We are the Tennis Foundation disability hub site for Kent and collaborate with clubs around the county to ensure regular Wheelchair Tennis sessions, weekly Learning Difficulty sessions, and monthly Vision Impaired sessions. Please email us for schedule information or other opportunities. We work closely with Charlton FC and their โรรฒUpbeatsโรรด program running a monthly session at their Sparrows Lane training ground. We also work with the Special Olympics and South London Special League to increase competition activity.
