Future Tennis Academy. A tennis academy and summer camp. Located in Hilzingen, Germany.
We offer the following programs for our professional players:
Half Time Program-
2-3 hours a day (mainly in one block, for example to have time slots for distance learning, etc.) – Monday to Friday.
Full Time Program-
4-5 hours a day (morning and afternoon) – Monday to Friday.
Individual Program-
Our individual program is aimed at those players who, for example, want to use a trainer alone (or want to work with the trainer in pairs). Very individual support systems (tour support, nutrition, fitness, psyche) are also possible by arrangement.
An essential component of the half and full time programs is the development of technical, tactical, physical and mental skills. Particular emphasis is placed on individual training and further education for the individual players. To guarantee this individual support, the number of participants in the FTA is limited to 8 players, and the training takes place in small groups of 2, 3, or 4 players.
An optimal training program can be prepared at the beginning of the training period. We deal intensively with the player to ensure optimal training work. A detailed “ACTUAL ANALYSIS” is carried out for each player initially. In addition, goals, special wishes in the field of training work, strengths and weaknesses are discussed in a personal conversation with the player.
In preparation, 3 – 5 times a week, tennis-specific fitness training (strength, speed, endurance, flexibility) is offered as part of the training, which is also individually tailored to each player. In addition to maintaining general endurance, the focus during the competition is on improving speed and mobility.
Depending on the duration of the booking, additional theory units are offered:
Topics include training, mental training forms, modern aspects of strength training, sports nutrition – in general and during the competition, analysis of the top 20players’ techniques.
In the FTA, the focus is on the athlete as a player and as a person. A central point of the training philosophy is, in addition to very hard training, regular conversations between players and coaches as well as developing creativity and independence.
“Army” methods have no place in the FTA – the principles of hard training should first be understood by the player and then implemented. Only if you go the hard way together (trainer and player) and understand the principles of training theory, an effective and intensive training is possible in the long term.
