Barton Creek Resort, now part of the Omni family, relaunched in May 2019 after a $150 million expansion. The renovations included a new tower, increasing the total to 493 rooms, a Mokara Spa with a rooftop deck, four swimming pools, seven restaurants, and 11 brand-new hard tennis courts at the adjacent country club. The resort is located just 10 miles from downtown Austin.

Monte Williams, the director of sports at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa, oversees the tennis programs and has been a USTPA-certified pro since 1994. Previously, he served as the director of tennis at Starmount Forest Country Club in Greensboro, NC. The resort features a complex with 10 hard courts.

Omni Barton Creek offers a range of recreational activities, including four scenic golf courses designed by Tom Fazio, Ben Crenshaw, Bill Coore, and Arnold Palmer, with the Canyons course designated as an Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. The 13,000-square-foot Mokara Spa features 17 treatment rooms, a rooftop pool, and a garden, along with a well-equipped fitness center offering classes like TRX and Pilates. Guests can also enjoy a multi-tiered pool deck with an infinity pool overlooking the Fazio Foothills golf course. Dining options at the resort include seven restaurants and lounges, such as a steakhouse, a Latin restaurant, and a coffee house.

Accommodations include new tower rooms, renovated hotel rooms, and one- and two-bedroom suites with deluxe amenities. The resort is open year-round. The nearest airport is in Austin, about 56 miles southeast.
