However, the resort’s two miles of pristine beach, bordered by dunes and golf fairways, beckon just to the east. The resort features luxury suites in two 12-story towers, a Lodge with 20 rooms, low-rise villas, a spa, fitness center, and multiple dining options. Tennis courts are located three miles away at Yacht Harbor Village, accessible by a free shuttle, and include eight lighted Hydro-Grid clay courts overseen by veteran pro Gene Paul Lascano.

Gene Paul Lascano, an RSPA Pro with 20 years of teaching experience, became the director of tennis at Hammock Beach in 2016. Although the courts are not visible from the hotel rooms, the friendly staff and excellent services like bottled water and towels attract returning guests. The club offers eight lighted clay tennis courts and four outdoor DecoTurf pickleball courts, along with a variety of activities, including clinics, Cardio workouts, and themed round robins. Court fees are $50 before noon, $30 after noon, and $30 for pickleball court rentals.

The resort offers two miles of dune-backed, pet-friendly Atlantic beach, ideal for whale watching but less suitable for swimming, with public access via Old Salt Road Beach Park. It features two golf courses: the 18-hole Ocean Course by Jack Nicklaus, with six holes along the Atlantic, and the Tom Watson-designed Conservatory, one of Floridaโ€™s longest courses. The Spa at Hammock Beach offers a variety of treatments, while the fitness center includes Peloton bikes and various classes. The resort also boasts the Fantasy Pool Complex, with multiple pools, a lazy river, water slide, and poolside bar, alongside nine dining options, including Delfinos Italian Chophouse and Atlantic Grille.

The resort offers three lodging options: 415-square-foot rooms in the Lodge near the beach, one-to-four bedroom suites in the tower, and two- and three-bedroom villas with fully equipped kitchens.

Open year-round, the resort is accessible via Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB), 35 miles south, and Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), 75 miles north.
