The resort has a rich tennis history, once hosting the Head Classic and a Fed Cup tie, which still adds to its appeal. During peak season, the four Har-Tru courts are busy, with the Adult Tennis Academy offering a two-hour morning program focused on different skills each day. Additional options include afternoon sessions, clinics, junior programs, game matching, and pickleball on four lined hard courts. Directed by Simba Happy, the tennis program is supported by a team of pros, with court fees at $40/hour and complimentary use of outdoor hard courts.

Topnotch does not have its own golf course, but guests can play at the exclusive Country Club of Vermont or the nearby Stowe Country Club. The resort features a 35,000-square-foot spa with over 120 treatments, an indoor pool, fitness studios, and daily classes. Guests can enjoy horseback riding at the equestrian center, biking or jogging on the nearby Stowe Recreation Path, and swimming in two outdoor pools. Family-friendly activities include kids' programs, junior camps, and outdoor fun like kite-flying, arts and crafts, and evening bonfires, while dining is available at The Roost, a casual indoor-outdoor restaurant and bar.

The rooms feature modern Vermont-inspired decor with rich wood furnishings, marble baths, flat-screen TVs, Keurig coffeemakers, and iPod docks. Many of the 68 rooms and suites offer mountain views, while 22 privately owned two- and three-bedroom homes with fireplaces and full kitchens are also available. The resort is pet-friendly.

The inn is open year-round, with the tennis program peaking in attendance from July to September. Burlington International Airport (BTV) is the nearest airport, about an hour's drive from the resort.
