CordeValle, A Rosewood Resort

Although typically a resort with just four tennis courts wouldn’t catch my attention, CordeValle is worth noting for adding courts and a seasoned tennis director to its amenities. Located on 1,700 acres in the Santa Cruz Mountains, 27 miles from San Jose, this hideaway is popular among Silicon Valley residents. Despite its small size, with only 45 suites and a few homes, it offers an 18-hole golf course, spa, fitness center, vineyard, winery, and exclusive restaurants. Tennis director Benjy Robins, a former ATP player and experienced coach, is gradually expanding the tennis program with summer camps and clinics tailored to guests’ preferences.
