Located in Vermont’s Green Mountains, Smugglers’ Notch Resort is a popular family-friendly destination. The village, with its colorful wooden buildings, sits at the base of ski slopes that transform into grassy hills in summer. Guests enjoy a laid-back atmosphere and a wide range of activities, including heated pools, water slides, guided hikes, an indoor FunZone, and award-winning children’s programs, all included in package rates. Lodging options range from one-bedroom studios to five-bedroom condos, with free shuttles available for easy transportation.

Smugglers’ Notch offers eight clay and two hard courts, making tennis a popular optional activity during summer. Co-directors Will Brooks and Mike Boggs designed tennis programs to complement the family-focused resort, offering options like Early Risers clinics for kids, junior camps, adult Discover Tennis clinics, and the TenPro Tennis School for advanced training. The court complex includes 8 clay courts (4 with lights) and 2 hard courts, with fees of $17/hour during the day and $12/hour after 6 pm.

Smugglers’ Notch offers a driving range with golf instruction for all ages and can arrange play at nearby courses, though it does not have its own golf course. Instead, it features an 18-hole Disc Golf Course set through the woods. The resort provides a massage center offering various treatments, as well as yoga, meditation, and other relaxation workshops. Additional activities include a climbing wall, skate park, Segway tours, and off-property excursions like kayaking and biking. Dining options are casual and family-friendly, with Morse Mountain Grille serving meals and hosting evening entertainment.
