The Arizona Biltmore, opened in 1929 in Phoenix, is a landmark hotel known as the “Jewel of the Desert” for its Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired architecture. Recently renovated for its 85th anniversary, the hotel blends classic design with a contemporary, desert-inspired style. Director of Racquet Sports Brendan Easterling, a former Wimbledon junior player, oversees the program at the Biltmore, which includes three Har-Tru tennis courts and four hard pickleball courts. With ten years of experience at PBI, Easterling has worked in the US, Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, and the Caribbean. The Biltmore offers tennis and pickleball clinics, round robins, private lessons, open play, and player matching, with all courts lit for nighttime use. The courts are conveniently located next to a state-of-the-art fitness center, Tierra Luna Spa, and Sol Garden.

Outside the Lines

The Biltmore offers two golf courses, Adobe and Links, with Adobe featuring spacious fairways and Links demanding precision with well-bunkered greens. The Tierra Luna Spa, adjacent to the tennis courts, provides a tranquil retreat with indoor/outdoor relaxation areas, treatment rooms, a hot tub, cold plunge, and a salt room, while the fitness center next door offers classes like yoga and Pilates. Guests can also explore hiking trails in the nearby Phoenix Mountain Preserve or enjoy lawn games and croquet.
