Our History
OSSA Tennis Academy has proven to be one of the most successful training programs for junior players in the Washington, DC/Maryland area. With 40 years of high-performance coaching experience, OSSA’s dedicated coaches have produced dozens of #1-ranked Mid-Atlantic players, 15 Gold Ball winners, 7 NCAA Champions, ITF tournament champions, and dozens of USTA Top 10 nationally-ranked junior players. Whether you are an intermediate, advanced, high school, or national caliber player, OSSA has a spot for you!

Our Mission
OSSA is an academy environment with boutique-style coaching. We have a unique approach to junior development and instill the disciplines necessary to excel in junior tennis.

Whether you are preparing for Super National tournaments, sectional tournaments, making a high school team, or just starting in tournament competition, we specialize in helping tennis players of all ages and abilities.

Our Coaches
Matz Claesson and Vince Pulupa co-founded OSSA Tennis Academy in 2006, but our roots can be traced back to 1991 at Lakewood Country Club. Matz has coached in the area for more than 25 years and has established himself as the premier junior coach in the Washington, DC/Maryland area– most notably working with Paul Goldstein and Alex Kim. Vince, who was also coached by Matz, has been coaching in the DC area for more than 15 years, and he’s an Adidas National Coach and Babolat National Coach.
