Within the 23,000-acre Kapalua Resort, you’ll find the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, the Montage Kapalua Bay, and the Kapalua Villas Maui, each offering access to Kapalua Beach, Oneloa Bay, Fleming Beach, and two championship golf courses. Tennis activities are centered at the Kapalua Tennis Garden, a beautifully landscaped complex with 10 tiered Plexipave courts. The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, opened in 1992, features Hawaiian-inspired architecture with elegant plantation-style interiors. Additionally, the Montage Kapalua Bay offers 1- to 3-bedroom villas, while Kapalua Villas Maui provides 2- and 3-bedroom options, many with ocean views.

The Kapalua Tennis Garden is a stunning court complex with 10 hard courts terraced into a hillside, offering views of Lahaina Roads. The facility has transitioned to drop-in tennis and pickleball socials, with Cathy Nicoloff available five days a week for clinics and private lessons. Four courts are lit, and the pro shop operates from 7:30 a.m. to noon, with court fees at $15 per person for two hours. Note that Kapalua's lush surroundings come with an annual average rainfall of 70 inches.

The resort is bordered by four white-sand beaches, including Kapalua Bay, often considered one of the best in America. Guests have access to 36 holes of golf across two courses: the challenging Plantation Course, designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore, and the more forgiving Bay Course, created by Arnold Palmer. The Plantation Course offers breathtaking views and hosts a PGA Tour event, while the Bay Course is known for its scenic beauty.
