The “Mansion” area, named after the 1912 Nickerson Family Mansion and Carriage House, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The “Villages” section features 11 tennis courts, an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, a private beach, five swimming pools (including two indoor ones), two fitness centers, and a spa. Ocean Edge Resort has two staffed tennis complexes: Bay Pines, with five Har-Tru courts, and Fletcher Village, with four hard courts, plus two additional hard courts at Britterige Village. Summer activities at both locations include a wide range of clinics, advanced workouts, match play critiques, boot camps, social round robins, and junior programs. Jim Leahy, the tennis director since 2001, aims to get every guest playing tennis, offering clinics and round robins nearly every hour of the day. Court fees are $24 per hour on clay and $20 per hour on hard courts.

Outside the Lines

Guests at Ocean Edge Resort can enjoy a range of amenities, including 700 feet of private beach on the Mansion side, Cape Cod's only Jack Nicklaus-designed 18-hole golf course, and well-equipped fitness centers with cardio and strength training options. The resort offers three outdoor pools, two indoor pools, and bike rentals for exploring the Cape Cod bike trail. During the summer, the Ocean EdgeVenture program provides supervised activities for children aged 4 to 9, while a packed calendar of family-friendly events ensures fun for all. Dining options range from the Ocean Terrace at the Mansion, offering bay views, to convenient Snack Cabanas by the golf course and pools.
