Founder George O’Leary was born on a farm near the town of Nenagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. He sailed from Ireland in 1956 and opened Rincon Country East in November of 1979.
A year later, all 460 lots were rented. In 1983, he began a new venture, which became the 1100 space Rincon Country West on Tucson’s southwest side.
Since then, George has continuously modernized both resorts to keep them up to date with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities. George’s wife, Sandra, is an integral part of the success of the parks. As General Manager, she’s involved in all aspects of park operations. Sons Danny and Charlie also have important roles in park operations.
The O’Leary family takes great pride in Rincon Country RV Resorts. They are genuinely interested in their residents' welfare and happiness, and they can be frequently spotted around the park. The O’Leary family and their staff are dedicated to providing guests with a 5-Star resort experience. Both parks have earned a Good Sam ranking in the top 1% of all RV resorts nationwide!
For 35 years, the O’Leary family has fostered many Rincon Country traditions that residents look forward to year after year. There are annual picnics, games, and parades; evening dinners and dances; sports tournaments; and lots more fun to be had.
Not to be forgotten are the many contributions our residents have made over the years. By teaching and participating in clubs, classes, and a multitude of other activities and welcoming new guests to the park, they have made the Rincon RV Resorts a close-knit community, which many look forward to returning to year after year.
