Rosemary Beach, designed by the same firm as Seaside, is a New Urbanism community on Florida’s Panhandle coast. Inspired by architectural influences like St. Augustine and the Dutch West Indies, it features single-family homes, parks, village greens, and a shop-lined main street. The 107-acre development offers access to a Gulf-front beach, boardwalks, swimming pools, and a racquet club with eight clay tennis courts. Most homes are second residences, many available for rent, ranging from cozy studios to large five-bedroom houses.

Rosemary Beach made tennis a key activity, featuring a club with eight Har-Tru courts, six of which are lit, and a pro shop with a rooftop seating area. The nearby fitness center and indoor/outdoor pool complement the facilities. USPTA pro Mike Clark, with over 25 years of teaching experience, leads the tennis program, supported by Head Pro Jonathan Clark, a former Division 1 player. The club offers daily adult clinics year-round, junior clinics in spring, summer, and fall, and a Dynamic Doubles Package for groups. Court fees are complimentary for guests renting through the Cottage Rental Company.

The resort features a three-hole practice golf course and a small fitness room with cardio and exercise stations in the tennis clubhouse. Families can enjoy a playground with a treehouse, swings, slides, and a jungle gym, as well as horseback riding into the desert hills. Organized children's programs are available during busy weekends and holidays. Dining at the Ranch House Dining Room is casual, with guests often choosing the Full American Plan for all meals, and outdoor seating by a fire pit is available.

The cottages, ranging from studios to one-bedroom units, are spread across a desert landscape on unnamed streets. They can be combined to form suites of up to five bedrooms. Most cottages feature wood-burning fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, internet access, patios, wet bars or kitchenettes, and complimentary parking.

The resort is open year-round. The nearest major airport is Northwest Florida Beaches International (ECP), about an hour east in Panama City, with regional options at Destin-Fort Walton Beach (VPS) and Pensacola (PNS). Rental cars are available at all three airports.
