The Blackwood Tennis Academy now manages the tennis operations at South Seas, aiming to elevate its profile by hosting events like the $50,000 USTA Womenโ€™s Futures tournament. The main tennis complex features 7 U.S. Open blue hard courts near the resort entrance, with 4 additional courts across the road. Nick Blackwood and his team offer custom-designed tennis sessions, daily clinics for adults and kids, Cardio tennis, and seasonal evening clinics and round robins. The 11 hard courts (4 with lights) are included in the resort fee.

The resort features a 2ยฝ-mile beach, renowned as one of the worldโ€™s top shelling spots, and a par-27, 9-hole golf course, with access to the 18-hole Dunes course on Sanibel Island. The Kay Casperson Lifestyle Spa offers massages, facials, and salon services, while the fitness center is moving to a location with marina views. Guests can also enjoy activities such as sailing at Colgate Offshore Sailing School, nature tours, kayaking, fishing, and a variety of childrenโ€™s programs. By car, take Exit 131 off I-75, drive west on Daniels Parkway, turn left onto Six Mile Cypress (which becomes Gladiolus after crossing US 41), and then turn left onto Summerlin Road. Continue south onto the Sanibel Causeway, pass through the toll booth, and follow the signs to Captiva Island.
