Tennis director Rob Barr, with over 25 years of experience, including coaching on the WTA and ATP Tours, leads the Essexโ€™s tennis programs. From May to October, he offers stroke clinics, junior clinics, and mixed scrambles, with customizable camps available from mid-July to September. Barrโ€™s programs are arranged separately from resort reservations, so contact him before booking. The complex features six Har-Tru courts.

The Inn features the Links at Lang Farm, a 4,100-yard, 18-hole, par-60 course with practice facilities and a clubhouse. Guests can also arrange to play at nearby courses, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed Vermont National Country Club. The 21,000-square-foot spa offers a wide range of treatments, a fitness center with TechnoGym equipment, a 25-meter indoor lap pool, and outdoor Jacuzzi. Dining options include The Tavern, serving Vermont pub fare and craft beers, and The Junction, focusing on local Vermont cuisine with an open kitchen.

The inn offers 120 individually decorated rooms and suites, with nearly half featuring Vermont hearthstone stoves or fireplaces.

The resort is open year-round, with tennis available from late May to mid-September. Burlington International Airport is the main entry point, offering flights from major airlines and on-site car rental options.
