JUNIOR NIKE TENNIS CAMPS AT AMHERST COLLEGE
We’re excited to also bring you a Junior Nike Tennis camp at Amherst College for all skills and a Nike Tournament Training Tennis Camp at Amherst College for ages 9-18! Click the links for details of our junior camps.

CAMP PROGRAM
Camp is geared towards adult players of all levels. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the weekend.
General Instruction and Match Play: The instructional segment of the camp will include modern stroke breakdown and production, proper grips and technique execution, corrective footwork, and movement drills. The camper’s skill level and needs will be evaluated upon arrival. The match play component of the camp will include basic and advanced strategy, shot selection, court positions, and developing specific playing styles.

Competitive Doubles Training: This high-energy program will include stroke skills specifically relating to doubles, strategic net play, and team playing styles. Offensive and defensive positioning will be highlighted as well as doubles-specific specialty shots.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: 4:1 camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring a tennis racquet, tennis shoes, and a water bottle
Facility: Camp takes place at Amherst College whose campus boasts 14 hard courts. Indoor courts both on campus and other local facilities are available in the event of rain.
Medical Protocol: In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
