Chateau Elan Winery & Resort - Cliff Drysdale Tennis

Chateau Élan began as a winery with vineyards surrounding a chateau inspired by 16th-century France, located 40 minutes north of Atlanta. It has grown into a 3,500-acre resort with a 320-room inn, 45 holes of golf, eight restaurants, a 35,000-square-foot European-style spa, and a tennis center designed by Stan Smith, featuring both tennis and pickleball courts.

Alejandro Aguirre, with Cliff Drysdale Tennis, leads the tennis and pickleball complex at Chateau Élan. Originally from Venezuela, he has over 15 years of experience teaching players of all ages and skill levels, holding certifications as an ATP Professional Tennis Coach, USPTA, and PPR. Alejandro offers a range of programs including introductory clinics, private lessons, Fast Feed cardio sessions, and junior programs, along with special Tennis and Wine or Pickleball and Wine weekends. The complex features 3 hard courts, 2 Har-Tru courts, and 4 pickleball courts.

Chateau Élan offers 63 holes of golf nestled in rolling, woodland-covered hills. The 35,000-square-foot spa and fitness center provides treatments, fitness classes, a sauna, hot tub, indoor pool, and a lakeside dining room. Guests can enjoy biking and hiking through forested trails and vineyards, with bike rentals included in the resort fee. Dining options include seven venues, such as the upscale Marc Restaurant, French-inspired Versailles, Southern gastropub Louis’ House of Bourbon, and the health-conscious Fleur de Lys in the spa.

The resort offers various accommodations, including rooms and suites at the Inn, suites at the Spa, and 2- and 3-bedroom golf villas with fully equipped kitchens.

The resort is open year-round and is an 80-minute drive from Atlanta-Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL).
