Etowah Valley, one of North Carolina’s top golf resorts, offers a 27-hole championship mountain course, lodging, dining, tennis, and a heated pool in the scenic town of Etowah near Asheville. Designed by architect Edmund Ault, the course winds through rolling valleys with breathtaking mountain views in the Southern Blue Ridge.

Etowah Valley Golf & Resort features two Hydro-Clay tennis courts, with Dr. West serving as the tennis pro since 2008. Beginning his career in 1970 at Pinehurst, Dr. West also spent over 25 years teaching physical education in North Carolina’s community colleges. After retiring, he joined Etowah Valley, where he continues to work closely with the tennis team and guests.

Etowah Valley offers a 27-hole championship golf course, a practice putting green and a heated outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine and drinks at Zeke’s Greenside Tavern, relax by the 6-acre lake, or use the outdoor patio. Additional amenities include a professional driving range, golf club rentals, an outdoor event pavilion, and on-site spa services by reservation.

Etowah Valley Golf & Resort offers various lodging options, including the South Lodge with 33 rooms, king or two queen beds, balcony views, and complimentary WiFi, located next to the clubhouse and pool. The Lakeview Cottage accommodates six guests with three bedrooms, a stocked kitchen, and a screened porch, just a 3-minute walk from the clubhouse. The Overlook Cottage hosts up to eight guests, featuring four bedrooms, a wrap-around deck overlooking the golf course, and is a short walk or drive to the clubhouse. All accommodations include hot breakfast.
