HDN Academy. A tennis academy and summer camp located in Nimes, France.
SPORTS TRAINING PROGRAMS
Our staff teaches the virtues of Intensive Work in apprentice tennis players. Daily tennis and physical training, accompanied by mental preparation, allow students to acquire the Spirit of Competition.
The volume of training varies according to the project defined with the student and his family.
Indeed, the child’s sports project can be tailored- made according to several personal parameters (objectives, budget, health, exams, etc.) and, at the end of the “test” stay (2 to 3 days). In total, immersion) carried out systematically before any integration.
For each, there is a minimum basis of 12 hours weekly training in small groups in which the players will lay the foundations of their program, up to 20 hours per week.
PHYSICAL TRAINING
Physical preparation is essential to improve the player’s efficiency, which is to say his performance and performance capacity.
Effective physical training must meet two essential objectives: injury prevention and optimization of performance in our athletes.
PLAYER PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Support each athlete in the construction of his personality and his development.
Put each athlete at the center of his project, with an awareness of what he is, a human being above all else, in constant search for evolution, development, demanding with himself, always oriented towards Excellence. Teach everyone to appreciate themselves, master themselves, reveal themselves, and surpass themselves to reach the top.
PLAYER MEDICO – SPORTS TRACKING
Medico-sports follow-up is placed under Jean-Charles Pierret, sports doctor and head of the medico-sports center in Nîmes. Our athletes benefit from physiotherapy follow-up (injury prevention, recovery, trauma treatment) thanks to the collaboration established with João Carronda (physiotherapist, sports coach accompanying pro players on the circuit, trainer at CREPS in Montpellier).
TOURNAMENT TRACKING
Throughout the year, players are trained in competition and thus benefit from personalized follow-up in a tournament (*). Coaching in competition is provided by the referent coach, who is essential in the player’s progress. A relevant analysis is thus made in a competitive situation (analysis of the opponent’s game, setting up his own game, stress management, modification of training, etc.). The referent coach’s role will also be to plan tournaments and ensure coordination with the family, a league, or a federation, depending on the projects. All projects are placed under the responsibility of the referent coach and coordinated by the sports director. The latter will work for the development of players and coaches.
