Northstar has seen significant changes with the addition of a large base village, an on-mountain Ritz-Carlton, a Hyatt Residence Club, and new ownership by Vail Resorts. The village features wood, shingle, and stone buildings along pedestrian-only streets, with shops and restaurants on the main level and lodging above.
